Otto Binggeser, founder and president, states, "I started with my painting business back in 1954, after immigrating to this country a year earlier with my wife and daughter. Within a year, I expanded into the drywall business in addition to painting. By 1958, I was one of the three largest painting and drywall contractors in the metro Detroit area. In 1960, I started Bing Construction, building my first two homes within three blocks of our present office location."
Over the next 36 years, Bing Construction built over a thousand homes in Bloomfield Township, Northville, West Bloomfield, Beverly Hills, Farmington, Southfield, Troy, and Lake Orion. Otto has served as president of the Michigan Drywall Contractors Association, president of the Building Industry Association (BIA) of Southeast Michigan, board member of the National Association of Home Builders, and is a lifetime board member of the Michigan Association of Home Builders and the BIA.
